The Unitizer consists of a press unit and tying unit, for highly efficient production of smart, compact wire-tied bale units at a capacity of up to 50 units per hour. The units typically consisting of four to eight bales, which are then ready for shipping.

Easy maintenance improves availability
Two different models
A choice of two different models ensures that, irrespective of plant layout or transport system, there is a Unitizer to suit any requirement. The models offer a capacity range of up to 50 bale units/h.
Pressing from all sides
The press unit offers a maximum press force of 10 tons from the top and up to 6 tons from the sides – a combination that ensures efficient pressing from all sides to create a uniform bale unit shape.

The tying unit, based on Valmet’s proven Wire tyer concept with servo drives, offers the benefits of this single bale tying machine including fully automatic processing and wire cage connection. The servo drive-operated wire feeding system allows exact and gentle wire feeding, ensuring safe wire handling by the operator, for instance when refilling the wire.
Parameters for acceleration, retardation, speed, wire tension and twisting can be adjusted from the machine’s HMI.
Efficient maintenance routines
It is easy to pull out the tying unit from the press unit for efficient cleaning and service, or for replacement of wear parts situated in the well-proven, patented twisting unit. This low-weight unit can be easily replaced by an overhauled spare. A trained person can make the exchange in a few minutes. All the machine’s service points are easily accessible.
