Customer success stories
Congrats on the triplets!
Tampereen Sähkölaitos Oy’s power plant family welcomed flue gas scrubber triplets in Tampere, Finland, in 2015. They have now received nationwide recognition.
Oulun Energia prepares for tightening regulations
The new electrostatic precipitator (ESP) supplied by Valmet will help Oulun Energia to produce electricity and heat at the Toppila power plants with lower emissions and costs in order to meet the requirements of the forthcoming IE directive.
Flue gas heat recovery is saving energy
Valuable energy is no longer breaking free into thin air at the Suosiola CHP plant located in Rovaniemi, known as the capital of Finnish Lapland and the official hometown of Santa Claus. The plant owned by Rovaniemen Energia Oy recently started up a flue gas cleaning system with heat recovery supplied by Valmet.
CMPC Guaíba pulp mill becomes totally odorless
CMPC Riograndense Ltda’s Guaíba pulp mill in Brazil no longer emits any hazardous or malodorous gases into the environment. They are efficiently controlled and destroyed by Valmet’s non-condensable gas (NCG) treatment system – probably the most comprehensive one in the world.
Down with NOx emissions
Helen Ltd has reduced the already low NOx emissions from its Salmisaari B power plant in Helsinki, Finland, with Valmet’s efficient Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system that employs urea instead of ammonia.
