Valmet’s social responsibility towards students continues: Employes hundreds of summer trainees
Each summer Valmet hires hundreds of summer trainees to work in its Finnish locations. The summer trainees work in engineering, production, procurement and logistics, product development, sales, finance and administration. In May 2020, Valmet was chosen as the fifth most attractive employer by the engineering students in Finland.

Forward with solar power
Valmet’s Lentokentänkatu and Rautpohja facilities in Finland have been converted into solar power stations. This means that on sunny days days, these locations can utilize a good number of green energy.
