Webinar Description

Whether you’re dealing with legacy machinery or transitioning to newer systems, this session is tailored to address your needs. The batch processing conducted at the reel poses significant safety risks for mill operators and maintenance personnel. We will focus on various safety hazards at the reel and measures to mitigate those without compromising operation.

You will also be given typical examples of maintenance needs for coaters and size presses. From there, learn about our patented Starch Kidney Recirc and Screening System. This system not only adds extra filtration to allow your system to run with cleaner starch, but it also allows the system to stay online without any losses during unexpected downs.

Here’s what you’ll gain insights into:

    1. Safety First: Reel Operations, Best Practices, and Guidelines:
      • Discover the best practices and guidelines utilized by Valmet when evaluating machine safety.
      • Understand common safety challenges observed at mill sites.
