Valmet DNA lives and develops according mill and plant needs, providing an efficient and safe solution throughout the life cycle of the plant. Existing mill systems such as Damatic XD, Damatic XDi, metsoDNA and metsoDNA CR are fully communication and application compatible with each other.
Valmet DNA and earlier Valmet systems can be upgraded in sections, and existing equipment and applications can be used in the upgraded system. There is no need to rewrite existing applications when hardware is changed, for example. The system network may also contain different generation subsystems or even different generations of products within a single system, meaning that new product features can be easily added.
