Fine screening at higher pulp consistencies

Fine screening technology focused on performance, flexibility and choice
Valmet’s wide installed base extends across the globe with its Delta and HI-Q series fine screens. Delivering efficient shive and dirt removal (anywhere from 1.5% to 5% consistency), Valmet fine screening solutions moves screening performance forward across all applications.
Valmet Fine Screen Delta
Valmet Fine Screen Delta is a state-of-the-art fine screening system. It is designed for pulp consistencies up to 5% and achieves excellent screening results. Previously known as the DeltaScreen™, Valmet Fine Screen Delta features the Nimega screen basket, delivers high efficiency shive removal and fulfills all capacity requirements. Advantages of Valmet Fine Screen Delta include:
- Ability to handle pulp consistencies up to 5%
- Higher pulp consistencies result in a significantly lower water volume, which means reduced installation costs and energy savings
- Outstanding runability at all cooking conditions
Valmet Fine Screen HI-Q
Valmet Fine Screen HI-Q delivers efficient shive removal from a pulp stream under varied operating conditions for all types of screening systems. Previously known as the HI-Q® Fine Screen, this state-of-the-art screen features patented rotor technology designed to save energy and reduce wear, and the latest innovations in fine slot screen plates. Advantages of Valmet Fine Screen HI-Q include:
- Very high efficiency debris removal
- High unit capacity
- Handles pulp consistencies ranging from 1.5% to 4%
- Interchangeable mechanical components with other HI-Q series screens
