Optimal performance and a new production world record at Södra Cell Värö mill

In the autumn 2021 Valmet provided a rebuild of the cutter to speed up production. Start-up was successful and in December 2021 the mill reached a new monthly production record of more than 68 000 air dried tonnes.
The pulp drying line currently has a max capacity of more than 2800 air dried tonnes per day, which equals to the world record as specific load of over 465 air dried tonnes per meter per day.
