Summer trainees

Each year, we offer around 400 students in Finland as well as around 50 students in Sweden the possibility to work as a summer trainee. As a Valmet summer trainee, you will be a part of a competent and enthusiastic team where everyone’s opinions are valued and where you get to test your limits while over 19,000 coworkers back you up.

We are passionate about our work, but there is also always time for laughter! The application period for the summer trainee positions starts in January.

Thesis opportunities

Every year we support dozens of thesis workers by providing inspiring thesis topics. Oftentimes thesis workers have already worked as a summer trainee at Valmet.
