Notification according to chapter 9, section 5 and 6 of the Securities Market Act, relating to ownership in the future Neles Corporation

Metso Corporation has received a notification, pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 5 and 6 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act, about the future ownership in Neles Corporation, which will be formed in the partial demerger of Metso. Valmet Corporation has informed that it has signed a share purchase agreement on June 17, 2020, which would become effective on July 1, 2020, after the registration of Metso’s partial demerger, currently expected to take place on June 30, 2020. After the purchase is being realized, Valmet’s ownership in Neles would total 22,374,869 shares, which represents 14.88% of Neles’ total shares.
