Drying and energy efficiency  
Well proven construction to optimize the distance between hood and cylinder on the whole AirCap wrap at all operating temperatures   
• Controlled thermal expansion for the longest life cycle of equipment in the industry  
• Possible special construction and materials for operating temperatures up to 700°C  

Effective moisture profile regulation on the Wet End 
• Additional profiling zones on the Dry End edges to control over- drying  
• Manual or actuator-remote controlled profiling zones 

Air system  
Dimensioned and designed to optimize energy efficiency and reduce emissions to the atmosphere  
• Natural gas, LPG, steam, diesel oil and dual fuel burners, as well as steam and diathermic oil heated systems  
• Heat recovery systems for: steam generation, room ventilation, combustion and make-up air and fresh and process water for the best utilization of exhaust air energy  
• Possibility to utilize co-generation (CHP) exhaust gases 

Washable AirCap roof  
Automatic washing system to remove dust from the hood roof, thus preventing the risk of fires

Advantage Balance Control™ (ABC)  
• Provides optimal and automatic balance control of hood and air system for any production range  
• Sends remote set-points to existing control system for main hood and air system components  
• Possibility to remote-control and modify parameters on-line, as well as to connect directly to Valmet experts for remote diagnostics on the drying process
