Valmet enters into a strategic partnership with Consulta Enterprises in India for power and process industry automation

Valmet has entered into a strategic value-added reseller (VAR) agreement for power and process industry automation with Consulta Enterprises in India. The agreement covers India, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
"The agreement is in line with our targets to increase our market activities in these areas. Consulta has a well-established presence, especially in India. Therefore, we see high potential in expanding our power and process automation system business in cooperation with our new partner," says Kari S. Heikkilä, Director, Partner Business, Automation, Valmet.
Valmet's role in the partnership is to supply its automation solutions. Consulta's responsibility covers sales to end users, particularly regarding the Valmet DNA automation system, as well as engineering and field services. Valmet DNA is already being used in thousands of power plants and industrial processes around the world.
