Paper manufacturer, FPC Papeles, chose Valmet to supply a package to improve its process performance, focusing mainly on final product quality and paper machine runnability. The order was included in Valmet’s orders received during the fourth quarter of 2021.
The company visited Klabin's mill in Ortigueira, Brazil, to see the new board machine PM27, and check on site Valmet’s unique solution that combines process technologies, services, and automation. The collaboration between FPC and Valmet's experts made it possible to develop a customized offer to meet all the customer needs and expectations.
Throughout the equipment selection and purchase process, we felt very supported by Valmet's technical and commercial team, which was of great help in the selection process. We are certainly looking forward to receiving the equipment we ordered from Valmet, because we believe it is the most suitable equipment for our mill and will allow us to achieve the production levels and paper quality we need to stay competitive in the long term,"
explains Eduardo Izquierdo, R&D Director of FPC Papeles.
"Thanks to Valmet's complete portfolio of solutions for the paper industry, we were able to first listen to the customer's needs and then offer different solutions focused on improving quality, saving energy and ensuring machine reliability with lower capital and operating costs," says Peter Hernandez, Sales Manager, Andes region, Valmet.
