Metso Paper will supply a coated board production line to Shandong Bohui in China. The start-up of the production is scheduled for the second half of 2009. The value of the order is around EUR 100 million.

Metso's delivery will include a complete coated board line with related air systems and two winders. The board machine, which will have a wire width of 6.25 m and a design speed of 900 m/min, will produce close to 1,400 tonnes of folding boxboard per day.

The line will include the latest technology developed by Metso Paper, such as the ValFormer shoe blade hybrid former and the revolutionary ValZone metal belt calender, enabling raw material savings and ensuring excellent printability of the board.
