Metso Paper establishes service point in Borlänge, Sweden

Metso Paper establishes a new Service Point in Borlänge, Sweden. The facility will be servicing pulp and paper mills in central Sweden from autumn 2005.

The Borlänge Service Point, which is a satellite to the Metso Paper Karlstad Service Centre, will provide all process roll services for the Stora Enso Kvarnsveden Paper Mill and to other mills in the region. It will add further capability to the Metso Paper Karlstad Service Centre.

The Borlänge Service Point is part of the expanding Metso Paper Process Service business, which is designed to serve nearby customers in maintaining and developing ongoing operations.

Metso Paper will supply the PM 12 together with a complete fiber line for mechanical pulp and stock preparation. Start-up of PM 12, which will be the world’s largest paper machine, is scheduled for autumn 2005.
