Valmet Customer Days 2021 was a great success

In early May, the Valmet Customer Days gathered 535 customers from 50 countries for an online event. The event’s focus was on energy and raw material efficiency, CO2 reduction, remote services and digital solutions.

The Customer Days is an event at which we provide our customers with an opportunity to keep up with the latest developments in process technologies, services and automation solutions. The two-day program included insightful keynote speeches, real-life customer cases, the latest innovations and engaging demonstrations about moving your performance forward with digital solutions and services. We also virtually visited some of our customers’ sites around the world. In this issue of the Forward magazine, you can read more about the highlights of the program. There is also an interview with our keynote speaker Perttu Pölönen – a futurist, inventor, and author – who argues that the next revolution will be a human revolution.

We’re happy so many of you participated in this great event. We’re also grateful for the positive feedback we’ve received from the participants: 94 percent of those who gave us feedback in a survey would definitely participate again, and 97 percent would recommend the event to their colleagues. That’s a great result we can be proud of!

I want to thank all who made this year’s Customer Days a huge success – you, our valued customers, the 24 guest speakers who devoted time and effort to make excellent presentations at the event, and the committed Valmet organizing team, who didn’t count the hours in ensuring that everything went smoothly to the finest detail.
