The new automation system features a user friendly operator interface, a fully redundant process controller, modular I/O interfaces and a history server with versatile tools for data and alarm analysis.
Solution
The automation system integrates the management of the electric power plant, remote control and automatic functions for pumps and valves in fuel, lubrication, sea and fresh cooling water, ballast water, black and grey water and bilge systems, and general monitoring and alarm functions for the miscellaneous ship systems.
