Flow control for gold production
Optimal valve and pump selection provides savings in gold production in CIL, CIP or CIC circuits. Valmet also has a wide range of solutions for gold autoclave POX process.
Mechanical Seals
To minimize the environmental impact Valmet has developed a new mechanical sealing system including double acting seals and closed loop water system which minimizes the water that enters the process. With this function you save fresh and waste water which results in reduced water costs and thermal energy savings due to less water to evaporate in the dryer.
Chemical
Valmet has wide experience in flow control and automation solutions for the chemical industry. We cover the entire life cycle of processes, including new installations, rebuilds and services.
Chip Bin
The chip bin acts as a buffer and it will also heat the chips with steam and secure good feeding of the raw material to the plug screw feeder. Valmet have developed a new type of chip bin to secure even and effective heating of the chips as well as provide good feeding to the plug screw feeder. Valmet chip bin's is also suitable to handle recovered steam coming from e.g the steam separator.
Chip washing
Producing quality MDF requires chips that are as free from impurities as possible. Debarking and screening are not enough. Chip washing is essential for producing board of low mineral content. The growing use of purchased chips, e.g. from sawmills, results in an ever-increasing need for chip washing. Existing impurities, in the form of metal, stones and sand, must be removed before the chips enter the process.
Pretratment BioTrac, Heat and Chemical Recovery
Pretreatment is one of the most critical and challenging process step. The BioTrac is a continuously operated system, designed for “steam explosion” of the biomass.
Service offering for textile fiber processes
Valmet’s comprehensive service offering helps to lower your environmental footprint significantly – at the same time improving your operational results. The key is a close collaboration and the right combination of services for every stage of the lifecycle of your textile fiber processes.
Valmet has published the Annual Report, the Corporate Governance Statement and the Remuneration Report for 2025
Are you developing novel cellulosic fibers?
Technologies for novel cellulosic fiber and man-made cellulosic fiber (MMCF) production enable precise control over fiber properties, such as strength and texture, making it ideal for diverse textile applications. Learn more about how we can support your development projects.
Reactors for chemical textile fiber treatment
Reactors are used to provide the retention time required to optimize the process. They are designed to withstand the conditions needed, i.e., pressure, temperature, pH, and the specific chemicals applied. Atmospheric reactors are often referred to as towers.
