Valmet’s Sustainability360° Agenda covers water efficiency and closed water cycles
Valmet's tissue mill technology has reduced average mill water consumption by 80% since 1990.
The art of maximizing production
Getting the most out of a production line in terms of capacity and paper quality demands a number of skills, the capability to run at high speed, reliable and efficient equipment, as well as the courage to push boundaries. Fabrica de Papel San Francisco has that all.
Large scope of supply to SCA Mexico
The Sahagun site in southern Mexico is flat and open and SCA could lay out the plant in the most optimal way and implement state of the art practices in all areas of the tissue mill project. A major share of the total project was awarded Valmet which included the complete process from engineering to the jumbo roll storage.
Hayat at world class speed
With a skilled crew and through dedicated hard work Hayat Kimya A.S. in Turkey have succeeded in their efforts to break the world speed record for tissue machines. The record of 2,210 m/min was set during a 24-hour production run by their TM 2 tissue machine at the company’s mill in Yeniköy near the city of Izmit in Turkey.
Sustainable technology for structured tissue
The Advantage eTAD tissue making process is a sustainable way to produce structured tissue with high bulk and absorbency.
New tissue machine line to Japan
Valmet has been chosen as the supplier of an Advantage tissue production line to Daio Paper Corporation, Japan. The new tissue line, jointly delivered by Valmet and Valmet’s partner Kawanoe Zoki, will be installed at Daio Kawanoe Mill in Shikoku Island, Japan.
Stronger and more flexible after stock preparation rebuild
Fifteen grade changes per day and meeting the needs of more than 100 customers – that’s the reality for Essity’s Collodi Mill, requiring fast adaptation and striving for efficiency in colored tissue production.
The future might surprise you
As Darwin is alleged to have said: “It is not the strongest, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” Surviving is about foreseeing the future. Succeeding is being there already. Get set for tomorrow’s needs with flexible hybrid technology!
Aktül with a mission to grow
Five years ago Aktül Kağıt’s mill in Pamukova, Turkey was a Greenfield. Now it is a flourishing plant which started up its second Advantage DCT 200 tissue machine supplied by Valmet on February, 2016.
