Pressure cyclone
A pressure cyclone is designed to separate steam from the pulp. The de-steamed pulp is transported to a latency tank and the steam is recycled in the process.
Steam Separator PF
The Steam Separator PF is a mechanical steam separator that separates the steam from the fibers before they are fed into the second or third stage refiner.
Steam Separator PS
Steam recycling is an important aspect of the energy-demanding refining process. It is a well-known fact that fiber carryover in the recycled steam can cause problems such as plugging, operating stops for cleaning and, in some cases, emitting fiber and steam into the surroundings.
TwinWire press
Valmet TwinWire press is the key equipment in the bleaching system. The unit dewaters pulp by pressing it between two continuous feed endless wires, in a closed dewatering process.
Pumps
Valmet’s unique and wide range of medium consistency pumps enables the most energy and cost-efficient pump choice for each application. The selection consists of two types of pumps: the CM type for feeding bleaching stages and reactors, and the CW type for feeding presses.
Chemical mixing
The Valmet Chemical Mixer is intended for feeding, diluting and mixing pulp with bleaching chemicals.
Bleach tower
Valmet Bleach Bin is a tower for bleaching pulp at both high and medium consistency. A discharge scraper placed in the bin bottom ensures optimal material distribution.
OptiScreen ProFS
The single-stage OptiScreen ProFS screens are designed for all fine-screening applications in mechanical pulping, recycled fiber and stock preparation.
HC Cleaner
Efficient cleaning results eliminate disturbances and wear of key process equipment and means savings in the form of improved efficiency in the following processes.
Green liquor handling
Valmet offers products that separate dregs from green liquor and increase the efficiency of the recausticizing process. The dregs handling encompasses systems that wash and dewater dregs efficiently with minimal or no mud consumption.
