We interviewed Mr. Bineet Kumar Suman from SBE Flow Control Pvt. Ltd. This successful distributor was recently awarded for their outstanding performance in 2023 at the Valmet Distributor Days India.

Could you describe your company in one sentence?

My name is Bineet Kumar Suman, I’m the Director of SBE Flow Control Pvt. Ltd. Our company is based in Kolkata, India, and our tagline is “Service beyond expectations.”

Can you tell us briefly about the history of your cooperation with Valmet?

We are one of the oldest Valmet distributors in India – we’ve been partners since 2017. At that time, the former company Metso had started to look for partners in India.

Can you give us a good example of one of your latest customer success cases?

We recently got one very good case, an order of 285 Neles™ NDX positioners for one of our customers in the refining industry. We could offer the right solution for the customer because we knew their challenging “pain area” and their needs and requirements. This is one of the biggest orders of Neles NDX valve controllers in India. It is strategically very important as an example for many upcoming new cases in India.

What was their original challenge? Why did they end up choosing Valmet’s flow control solutions?

First, we have a very good relationship with the customer, and the customer was confident in Neles products. They were sure that whatever product we offered, it would be a durable high-quality solution. Another key factor in their choosing Valmet’s equipment was that we were able to understand their requirements.

How would you describe the collaboration between you and Valmet?

We are improving business every year. As we have gained more knowledge of the products and applications, we are now a more confident and stronger flow control channel partner for Valmet. This also means success and growth with our customers.

Meet Rishabh Madan – Valmet contact for SBE Flow Control

Currently, in my role as Channel Marketing Specialist, I’m based in Mumbai, India. I contribute to business growth by implementing innovative marketing strategies. I develop strong relationships with over 30 Channel Partners in India to achieve growth in business. Before this, I worked as a Marketing Specialist, and I looked after the promotion of the Valmet brand image in the local Market Area. I created clear and consistent communication in the internal web portal, organized tradeshows and sales meetings, and hosted local channel partner events. When asked about my work with our channel partners, I take pride in having organized three successful channel partner meetings. These events are the highlight of my year, as they bring together all our partners in one place. It’s an exciting opportunity for them to share business insights, collaborate and align their efforts. I invest considerable effort in creating a compelling storyline or theme for each event, ensuring that our partners not only remember the key messages but also work collectively toward our shared goals. When not working, you’ll find me playing games on Playstation 5 and watching technology/gadget-related videos.
