Valmet supports Procter & Gamble’s Climate Transition Action Plan

Valmet was awarded an order for state-of-the art ThruAir drying equipment that will be installed at Procter & Gamble’s Box Elder tissue mill in Utah.

The target of the delivery is to reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions as well as ensuring reliability and efficiency of the production line. Equipment delivery is scheduled for 2024.

Valmet has a positive history with Procter & Gamble. Since the early 1990’s Valmet has delivered rebuild technology and supported P&G’s new capacity expansions in North America. This latest order will also support P&G’s Climate Transition Action Plan – Ambition 2040/Net Zero Plans.
