Successful start-up of Valmet Defibrator System for fiber processing at Anhui Huqian in China

This project is the third continuous press fiberboard production line invested in and constructed by Huqian Forest Industry Group. It is also the first time that they selected Valmet’s fiber processing technology. The project is designed to manufacture high-end fiberboard products, maximize energy efficiency, ensure environmentally friendly clean production, and establish a modern, low-carbon, and highly efficient production line.

Anhui Huqian has introduced the proven and efficient defibrator system from Valmet, equipped with the Valmet Defibrator. Boasting superior fiber quality and low operating costs, this machine has earned wide recognition across the industry. The defibrator system is also equipped with a Valmet Steam Separator, which effectively improves overall thermal efficiency, helping to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and achieve green, low-carbon production.

Valmet delivers a complete integrated fiber processing solution for this project. The scope of supply covers core process equipment and automation systems throughout the process, including Wood chip bin, Plug screw, Preheater, Defibrator feeder, and the Defibrator, as well as the high-efficiency Steam separator. The supply also includes relevant auxiliary equipment and facilities, together with supporting electrical and automation control systems.
