EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH operations have been incorporated in Valmet

On December 5, 2022, EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH has been incorporated in Valmet GmbH upon the entry of the merger in the Commercial Register. The EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH operations are now part of Valmet’s Pulp and Energy business line’s Environmental Systems technology unit.
The company is now operating as Valmet GmbH and all new contracts will be made by Valmet GmbH. Existing contracts with EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH remain unaffected and have been transferred to Valmet GmbH.
The acquisition of EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH to Valmet brings together two companies with different offerings complementing each other. It combines Valmet’s current technology, which has focused on pulp and energy industry, with EWK’s product portfolio and wide industry coverage.
