Cooling systems
Chilled-water, condenser, and liquid-cooling loops must continuously and efficiently circulate large water volumes as rack densities exceed 60 kW and total facility heat loads surpass 300 MW. Our Neles™ high-precision control valves, including our low-pressure-loss segment valves as well as our reliable Jamesbury™ on/off ball valves with electrically operated Valvcon™ actuators optimize cooling across chillers, heat exchangers, and heat pumps to ensure continuous energy-efficient operation, helping directly optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).
Fire protection
Sprinkler and water-mist systems must be available at all times with zero tolerance for failure in Tier III and Tier IV facilities. Valmet supplies certified fire-safe, SIL3-capable Jamesbury™ and Neles™ valves that provide fast reliable opening or fail-safe isolation, fully integrated in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS).
Water treatment, make-up and heat recovery
Utility, make-up water, and heat-recovery loops must stay efficient and stable. Valmet helps operators upgrade low-temperature waste heat to municipal district heating temperatures through precise flow control and on/off valves with low pressure loss.
