Unitizer

The Unitizer consists of a press unit and tying unit, for highly efficient production of smart, compact wire-tied bale units at a capacity of up to 50 units per hour. The units typically consisting of four to eight bales, which are then ready for shipping.

Pressing

The press section consists of Valmet Combi Press with two nips and Valmet Shoe Press. The first open draw of the web is after Valmet Combi Press, when dryness is more than 40 % and web is already very strong. Valmet Shoe Press gives higher dryness of web before it enters into Valmet Airborne Dryer.

Stacker

Valmet Stacker is a high-capacity stacker that can process up to 300 bales/h.

Wire tyre

Valmet Wire Tyer is a tying machine that automatically applies high-tensile steel wire around pulp bales at pre-selected positions.

Chipping

Valmet has supplied more than 2000 heavy duty chippers to date, which is half of the entire number of disc chippers for the fiber processing industry worldwide. Valmet can offer, and have long experience of, both gravity feed and horizontal feed type of chippers.
