OptiPress Center

Center roll based press section is a reliable, well-known concept combining close to 40 years of pressing technology experience with modern shoe press technology. A shoe press replaces a roll just before the first open draw. The resulting boost in dryness thus fully benefits web runnability in the open draw.

Leading technology for superior runnability and maximal web stability

Runnability systems stabilize the run of the web and secure tail threading in the dryer section. In practice, the equipment helps to hold the web in contact with the fabric by creating underpressure on the other side of the fabric. The underpressure is created by blowing, suction, or a combination of both. 

Capacity increase for rebuilds

OptiDry Vertical is an impingement dryer, which increases drying capacity without adding machine length. It is installed under the existing dryer section. OptiDry Vertical suits all paper and board grades and can be use with any dryer section layout.
