Valmet launches new PFAS-Free headbox coating
Valmet has launched Valmet Headbox Coating MX07, a new PFAS‑free coating solution for paper machine headboxes. The new coating delivers the same high level of performance and reliability as the earlier Valmet Headbox Coating MX06, while supporting the paper industry’s transition toward safer and more sustainable technologies.
Valmet Headbox Coating MX07 is designed to prevent fouling in the headbox area and to improve surface cleanability. The coating provides durable, dirt‑repellent protection, helping customers maintain stable production and reduce the need for chemical cleaning.
