Valmet has completed the divestment of its pump business to Metso
Valmet has completed the divestment of its pump business to Metso, a global company providing sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries.
The transaction covered peristaltic hose pump and progressive cavity pump technologies, as well as related aftermarket spare parts and service offering capabilities. The pump products have been sold under the Flowrox™ brand as part of Valmet’s flow control offering. The Flowrox trademark and brand remain with Valmet, and Flowrox valves will continue to be core to Valmet’s valve portfolio.
The divested products will be integrated into Metso’s pumps portfolio and rebranded under the Metso name. For more information, please visit Metso’s website.
The divestment of the pumps business was announced on August 24, 2026 and it does not have material impact on Valmet’s financial performance.
