Course Code: MAXGCP2 This course, taught in English, provides attendees with advanced hands-on training using the Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph Portal (GCP) workstation software. GCP replaces both System Manager and EZChrom. The course reviews software table structures, demonstrates how to add functionality to the MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph, and explains how to create methods and sequences from scratch.
Objective
Upon completion, attendees will be able to: -Set up and calibrate the analyzer using the color touch screen -Run multiple-level calibrations in GCP -Add methods and sequences in GCP -Perform analyzer software upgrades -Configure chromatogram logging and data logging -Add user-specific alarms -Add peaks, valves, and programs by creating a method in GCP -Create STATMON file

Personnel responsible for maintaining the Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph and users who perform routine maintenance and calibration.
