Description
This course, taught in English, covers the operation, setup, and calibration of the Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph, along with an overview of the Valmet MAXUM II GCP workstation software (which replaces both System Manager and EZChrom).
Objective
Upon completion of this course, the attendee will be able to perform basic maintenance on the Valmet MAXUM II, balance the carrier gas flows, set up the analyzer valve timing, set up the Electronic Pressure Controller (EPC), access the Valmet MAXUM II using GCP- Network View, adjust peak times with the GCP, calibrate the analyzer with GCP, and backup and restore the analyzer database.

This course is designed for individuals responsible for maintaining the Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph and for users who need to perform routine maintenance and calibration.

Basic knowledge of process analytics and gas chromatography
