Description
This course, taught in English, teaches how to use the Valmet MAXUM II workstation MAXBasic table editor to create and modify existing programs used to customize a Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph, as well as how to modify and create SQL statements and MAXBasic program commands which will manipulate the Valmet MAXUM II database to perform custom tasks in the analyzer. A fully functional copy of the MAXBasic Language Editor CD is included with the course at no additional charge.
Objective
Upon completion of this course, the attendee can: - Modify a MAXBasic program - Compile and save the program to the Valmet MAXUM II database - Create SQL statements to read and write to the Valmet MAXUM II database - Use parameter table entries and IARGs for variables in programs - Create simple MAXBasic programs
Audience
Persons responsible for programming of the Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph and users who need to customize the Valmet MAXUM II database using MAXBasic Programs.
Pre-requisites
Valmet MAXUM II Operation with GCP Level 1 course.
