Successful press section rebuild at Fibre Excellence SAS Provence in France

One new milestone with textile pulp

LD Celulose’s pulp drying machine ran for over 270 days without any web breaks. This achievement marks a new milestone in 2023 for textile pulp. Since its start-up, the machine has demonstrated a very stable runnability.

Valmet and Suzano – a successful journey together

In 2011, Valmet was selected to supply the main technology for pulp production and recovery at Suzano’s mega mill project near the city of Imperatriz in the north of Brazil. In 2013, the mill was completed, and the first bales were produced. Today, we celebrate a decade of continuing successful collaboration.

Successful start-up of Expansion Södra Cell Värö 2.0

Södra Cell’s mill in Värö, Sweden, continues to make stepwise and targeted investments for a brighter future. The latest expansion project was successfully started up in October 2021, six months ahead of the original plan. Ensuring a smooth pulp drying process

The Vulindela project is an overall expansion project at the Sappi Saiccor mill in South Africa. It will increase the mill’s total output by 110,000 tonnes of dissolving pulp per annum while reducing its environmental footprint. As part of this project, Valmet helped Sappi overcome a bottleneck in their baling line.
