Reverse flow hydrocyclones
Reverse flow hydrocyclones are used for light weight separation, a process that typically requires specially designed equipment.
Parallel flow hydrocyclones
Parallel flow hydrocyclones are used for light weight separation, a process that typically requires specially designed equipment.
Uses of lignin
Lignin can replace fossil-based raw materials in a wide range of industries. Here's a few examples. Using lignin instead of fossil-based materials will lower emissions of CO2.
Valmet Continuous Cooking
Valmet Continuous Cooking is the first-hand choice for kraft mills pulping wood based raw materials such as hardwoods (eucalyptus, acacia, birch etc.), softwoods (pine, spruce etc.) and bamboo.
Mill Wide NCG Handling
The benefits of Valmet’s cutting-edge NCG handling technology include effective odor control and the ability to meet the ever-tightening environmental regulations, and consequently better relationships with the surrounding communities.
Bale conveyor system
Valmet's range of bale conveyors is based upon years of experience in handling pulp bales. The heavy-duty design guarantees a long life, safe operation and easy maintenance. Valmet Bale Conveyor System is used in pulp producing lines (sheet dried and flash dried), as well as in pulp receiving lines for recipe handling, de-wiring and pulper feeding. All conveyors are available in a large number of variants optimized to handle different capacities, pulp qualities, bale weights and bale dimensions. The baling system is adaptive and flexible. Each conveyor is equipped with its own PLC and software that provides precision control of the bales.
Wire Remover-Unit
Valmet Wire Remover-Unit offers a cost-efficient, fully automatic solution for dewiring and destacking pulp bale units.
Bale quality system, BQS
Valmet, the global leader in pulp and paper lines, supplies the Bale quality system (BQS) as a supervisory tool designed to keep track of production data and quality parameters for bale handling. BQS is a unique system that tracks each individual bale, bale set and bale unit throughout the production line. The system uses absolute bale position tracking to ensure exceptional reliability of key data.
Fiber flash dryer
The Valmet Fiber Flash Dryer is a money saving alternative when you invest in a pulp drying line. A flash drying system for both mechanical and chemical pulp entails considerably lower investment than conventional sheet drying plants.
Valmet Headbox
One of the most important parts of a pulp drying machine is the headbox. The modern wet end features an advanced dilution controlled hydraulic headbox, which ensures an excellent web profile both in cross and machine directions.
