    Recovery boiler SCR - a retrofit case study

Target emission levels are decreasing and SCR will soon be needed for recovery boilers. This article is an abstract of a white paper which presents a study for a retrofit case using SCR to lower NOx from 200 to 100 mg/m3 (6% O2, dry gas), including implementation of some high power features.

    A hundred young people learned about the working life at Valmet. Participants to the training periods in the spring and fall included both unemployed people and people participating in the VALMA preparatory vocational education. Three-week training periods were arranged at Valmet sites in Tampere, Pori, Ulvila, Järvenpää, Jyväskylä, Raisio, Kajaani and Espoo.
