Bracell's new Cooking line 1 in operation at the Bahia mill in Brazil
On October 1, 2025, Cooking line 1 was successfully started up at Bracell Bahia Speciality Cellulose S.A.'s mill in Camaçari, Brazil. The new batch cooking line is part of the Renovar project at the mill.
The new line delivers impressive results: greater production stability, reduced natural gas and water consumption, and significant environmental and operational benefits.
Implemented under the EPS model, the project highlights the positive impact of innovation, featuring four new digesters, a gas treatment system, and high-performance equipment that increases production capacity and strengthens the sustainability of the operations.
This milestone was only possible thanks to the synergy between the Valmet and Bracell teams, who turned a strategic challenge into an outstanding achievement.
