The 16th Valmet Clothing Days was organized in Tampere, Finland, from March 12-14, 2025, with the theme ‘Let’s renew and succeed – together’. The seminar included insightful presentations from papermakers and Valmet experts, as well as an interesting look into the trends affecting the paper market. This year, the inauguration of Valmet’s new press felt production machinery was also part of the program, after which the participants attended a mill tour.

Valmet is pioneering the use of bio-based raw materials in paper machine clothing production. In Valmet Press Felt EMX M Bioneer, part of the fossil raw material has been replaced by a bio-based alternative, thereby reducing the felt's carbon footprint.
