Tissue Making Days
Tissue Making Days offers a unique opportunity to connect with tissue makers from all over the world, learn from experts, participate in hands‑on workshops, and experience Valmet’s innovations up close.
Every second year since 1983, Valmet has brought the global tissue community together for Tissue Making Days. In the summer of 2026, from June 23–25, we welcome customers, partners, and industry leaders to Karlstad, Sweden, for three days of inspiration, learning, and collaboration.
Centered around the theme “Performance for life”, Tissue Making Days 2026 offers a comprehensive conference experience focused on long‑term performance, sustainable operations, and continuous development.
Alongside the conference program, the event is also about bringing people together. The program includes a welcome get‑together and a gala dinner in a relaxed settings for networking, dialogue, and collaboration.
The event features a two day conference combining keynote presentations, customer testimonials, technical sessions and Valmet presentations. The program is designed to balance strategic perspectives with practical insights, addressing both current challenges and future opportunities in tissue making. In addition, breakout sessions provide the opportunity to explore selected topics in more depth and encourage focused discussion and knowledge exchange.
A key highlight of the event is the visit to Valmet’s facilities in Karlstad, including a guided tour of the Tissue Technology Center and the pilot machine, offering a unique opportunity to see development, testing, and innovation up close.
With its unique mix of keynote sessions, technical presentations, customer testimonials, hands‑on learning, pilot demonstrations, and networking opportunities, Tissue Making Days 2026 provides a platform to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and shape performance for life - today and into the future.
