Valmet to supply Integrated Automation System for two Stena E-Flexer Ropax to Weihai shipyard in China

Valmet receives an order of integrated automation system (IAS) for two Ropax built in China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard Co., Ltd for Stena RoRo AB, which is under Stena Line Group. The contract was signed via VAR partner China Merchants Industry Digital Technology Co., Ltd (CMDT). The two 240-meter vessels represent a step forward in sustainable shipping, equipped with multi-fuel and methanol ready, power battery pack and Solar panels and will be operating in Adriatic Sea between Greece and Italy.

Successful start-up of Sappi North America’s rebuilt board machine PM 2
