Strategic review
Valmet's Board of Directors has decided to initiate a strategic review to evaluate the possible separation of its two core businesses, Biomaterials Solutions and Services and Process Performance Solutions, into two independent listed companies. The assessment focuses on determining whether the separation of the core businesses and operating as separate listed companies on Nasdaq Helsinki would create added value for shareholders compared to the current structure where the businesses operate as part of the same company.
