Valmet enhances Fiberboard GmbH's efficiency with advanced debarking solutions
Valmet will deliver a debarking drum rebuild including a Valmet Debarking Amplifier to Fiberboard GmbH in Baruth, Germany. The rebuild will lengthen the lifetime of Fiberboard’s debarking line while contributing to overall debarking quality.
“In addition to selecting Valmet to overhaul the debarking drum, we decided to invest in Valmet Debarking Amplifier, which we believe will further improve the debarking quality at the plant. Overall, the project will improve the performance of our debarking drum, and we are looking forward to seeing the results,” says Marko Dybski, Maintenance Manager at Fiberboard GmbH.
Valmet Debarking Amplifier is one of the newest additions to Valmet’s innovative wood-handling solution family, and Valmet is proud to deliver the first debarking amplifier in Central Europe North to Fiberboard.
“The solution will contribute to the overall debarking quality at the plant while reducing energy consumption and wood losses, thus improving the customer’s process efficiency and increasing their competitiveness in the market,” says Nils Anspach, Product Sales Manager at Valmet.
The order is included in Valmet’s orders received of the third quarter of 2025. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The delivery and installation work will take place in the fourth quarter of 2025.
