Valmet donates spare parts to a power plant in Ukraine
Valmet has made another donation of spare parts to a power plant customer in Ukraine, to support and maintain the country's energy infrastructure. The first donation was made in 2023.
The need for humanitarian help in Ukraine is continuous, and it cannot be met by the actions of authorities alone. In Finland, the Ministry of Internal Affairs coordinates the donations to Ukraine through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, making it possible for companies, voluntary organizations and municipalities to support Ukraine in the battle.
Valmet’s donation of spare parts to a Ukrainian power plant is expected to ensure the continuity of electricity supply thus improving the lives of civilians in conflict-affected areas.
