Course Code: MAXGCP1EU. This course covers the operation, setup, and calibration of the Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatograph, along with an overview of the Valmet MAXUM II GCP workstation software.
Objective
Upon completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:
• Perform basic maintenance on the Valmet MAXUM II
• Balance the carrier gas flows
• Setup the analyzer valve timing
• Access Valmet MAXUM II using GCP - Network View
• Adjust peak times using GCP
• Calibrate the analyzer using GCP
• Backup and restore the analyzer database
