Celebrating our service milestone: 50 years of flow control services

The year 2025 marks a significant milestone for Valmet as we celebrate 50 years of service excellence in the valve industry. Since our inception in 1975, we have been dedicated to developing and refining our valve services, investing in the expertise of our professionals, and expanding our global service network. With over 40 service centers worldwide and a team of more than 400 dedicated service professionals, Valmet has consistently delivered tailored flow control solutions that meet our customers’ unique process challenges, ensuring plant availability and minimizing risks.

Starting from maintenance and spare parts business, we have significantly expanded our services portfolio to include more tailored solutions that address customers’ ever-increasing process challenges and the digitalization trends. Today, our extensive flow control services also encompass business solutions and services designed to ensure the availability of plants and minimize risks, reflecting our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers.

Our own service centers, employees, resident engineers and extensive authorized service partner network ensure proximity to our end customers. Throughout our development of an extensive service network, design and implementation of digital services capabilities have remained high on our agenda. Today we provide our customers with tailored service solutions that are enhanced by digital visibility of the plant’s performance in Valmet Customer Portal and ValvesNow

With the acquisition of Flowrox™ products in 2022, our service capabilities expanded to pinch valves and pumps.
