Valmet hosts inaugural Roll Maintenance School in Mexico, showcasing customer excellence through training

From May 5–8, Valmet welcomed over 40 participants to Monterrey, Mexico for its first-ever Roll Maintenance School in the region, underscoring Valmet’s enhanced commitment to customer training across Latin America. 

This milestone event included an engaging format with bilingual presentations in both English and Spanish, interactive surveying/polling, and live translation, ensuring all attendees had access to the full learning experience.

Presenting roll maintenance topics

Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions covering: 

  • Rigid, flexible, and suction roll maintenance 
  • Roll cover materials and manufacturing 
  • Controlled crown and deflection-compensated rolls 
  • Predictive diagnostics and maintenance planning 

Attendees rated most sessions at almost a 10 out of 10, with standout praise for suction roll sessions and the collaborative group discussions.
