Pindo Deli - Perawang Mill Blok 4 in Indonesia faced the challenge of high maintenance costs due to the short operational lifetimes of their conventional clothing guide valves. To address this, they implemented the Valmet Clothing Guide Valve. This solution resulted in lower costs with interchangeable spare units, less maintenance with common functionality, reduced wear on machine clothing, and minimized failure risk.

Asia Symbol's PHV conversion project successfully commissioned

On November 18th, 2024, Asia Symbol (Shandong) Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. successfully commissioned the rebuild of the PL12 pre-hydrolysis vessel (PHV) into a kraft digester, which was smoothly integrated into the pulp line under normal operation, marking a one-time successful start-up of the innovation project.
