Turpentine decanting

Sulfate turpentine is an economically important by-product which can be recovered from the Kraft pulping of resinous woods. High separation efficiency of turpentine from water phase is possible in a Linder type turpentine decanter. The turpentine decanter is in principal a cylindrical vessel, equipped with a conical funnel in the bottom part and with an overflow for separated turpentine in the upper part.

Cutter

The Valmet Cutter is suitable for all pulp types and for cutting both wet and dry pulp. Of course it can be used for cutting wrapper sheets as well. The change from normal sheets to wrappers or vice versa takes place automatically in less than one minute with no effect on the drying machine speed.

Pulp drying and baling

Valmet offers best available technology for efficient and economic pulp drying and baling. Our wide and flexible technology offering facilitates several pulp grades with end products like dissolving, fluff and market pulp.

Wet end
