Metso-supplied Yankee hood and dust control system successfully started up at Disley Tissue in the United Kingdom

The Metso-supplied Advantage AirCap hood and Advantage WetDust system at Disley Tissue near Manchester in the United Kingdom were successfully started up in October 2012.

The Advantage AirCap hood is based on the latest technology and best energy saving principles. In this case it is designed to remarkably increase the production without affecting the current energy consumption.
The Advantage WetDust system applies the patented, innovative concept of a fully wet system to capture dust at the source by encapsulating it in water.
The installation of these two Metso systems will support Disley Tissue in decreasing environmental impact, optimizing the process and improving working conditions.
Disley Tissue is located near Manchester, and operates in association with Connect Hygiene Products Ltd and Peter Grant Papers Ltd in providing high quality tissue parent reels and converted tissue and towel products.
