Description: Learn from experts in the field and get knowledge about the whole tissue making process from stock preparation to reeling.

Objective: Learn from experts in the field and get knowledge about the whole tissue making process from stock preparation to reeling, how the machine parts interact and which parameters you need to control for the making of tissue. You will learn about how you can contribute to maintain and improve the productivity of the tissue production. The course includes the processes from stock preparation to paper on the reel and everything in between. Topics like energy efficiency, automation, simulations and maintenance will also be covered as well as safety issues around the Yankee and at dry end section of the machine. The course takes on a holistic approach and will highlight how you can save energy and increase the runnability of the machine. The training will be held by English speaking Tissue experts from various fields of competence, at Valmet’s facilities in Karlstad, Sweden.

Audience: The Tissue Papermaking Training is designed for machine operators, mill personnel or anyone who wants to get a deeper understanding about tissue making.

TIME SCHEDULE

The course will start at 9:00 at Monday morning, the following days at 8:30

Lunch at 12:00-13:00.

The training days end at 17:00. Last day training end at 14:30

LOCATION

The training is held at Valmet, Axel Johnsons väg 6, Karlstad, Sweden.

The facilities are located 20 km from Karlstad Airport and 3 km from Karlstad train station. 

ACCOMMODATION

Each participant is responsible for own reservations of transports and hotel room. Valmet can of course help with bookings or recommendations if needed. 

REGULATIONS

Cancellations received between four weeks and two weeks prior to the course date will be charged 50% of the course fee. Later cancellations will be charged full fee. If you can't attend in person your reservation can be delegated to someone else from the same company. Valmet has the right to cancel the course if a teacher is indisposed or if the number of participants are too few. 

TRAINING FEE

2 925 € / person

The training fee includes training documentation, refreshments and lunch but does not include transportation and accommodation. Swedish VAT of 25% will be added to the fee. A discount of 25% will be given if four or more persons from the same company participate in the training. 

The training will be held in English.
