Description: This course presents the design and function of the spout robot and also how it's operated. The Valmet Spout Robot removes frozen smelt in the smelt spouts between the recovery boiler and the dissolving tank.
Objective: After this course you should know the design and function of the Spout Robot. You should also know how to operate the robot in a safe way and what actions to take when the robot stops.
Audience: Recovery boiler operators
Pre-requisites: Basic knowledge in the Recovery boilers and preferably a technical education is recommended.
