Could you describe your company in one sentence?

PMS valveTec is a certified sales and service partner for Valmet in Austria and a subsidiary of the PMS Elekto and Automationstechnik with around 500 employees.

Can you tell us briefly about your history of cooperation with Valmet?

The cooperation with Valmet (formely Metso and Neles) started around 20 years ago. At that time, we gave our support in many different service repair cases.

Can you give us a good example of one of your latest customer success cases?

A big success for us this year was an order of control valves for a carbon capture project in Iceland.

What was their original challenge? Why did they end up choosing Valmet’s flow control solutions?

The challenge was to find the best flow control solutions for an especially challenging medium, geothermal water with a lot of silica.

Our customer chose Neles™ control valves and valve controllers because we have a long relationship with this customer. They trust us, and they know we offer the best solution for their needs.

What are the results?

The project is ongoing. So far, the feedback has been positive, and the customer is satisfied.

How would you describe the collaboration between you and Valmet? 

We have a friendly, collegial and supportive partnership with Valmet. Good collaboration also helps us succeed in a challenging market.
